Course Registration

At Embry-Riddle, Dual enrollment students are held to the same academic standards as our undergraduate students, and they are expected to satisfy all course prerequisites and corequisites prior to registering.

New Students

The transition from secondary to post-secondary coursework can be a challenging adjustment for any student. To help ease this transition, new students are only permitted to enroll in one course during their first term.  After the first term, the student will work with their Dual Enrollment Advisor to determine an appropriate course load for future terms.

Starting with one course ensures that each student is able to adjust to the rigors of post-secondary coursework and is set up for maximum success.

Please note: In some cases, a student may obtain approval to take more than one course during their first term.
