Move On When Ready

Move On When Ready - Georgia’s dual enrollment program - allows high school students (9th – 12th grade) to earn college credit while working on their high school diploma. As a participating institution, Embry-Riddle offers opportunities for high school and homeschooled students throughout the state. The Georgia Move On When Ready program covers tuition, mandatory fees, and required textbooks for eligible students.


  • Easier transition from high school to college experience (increased academic preparedness)
  • Ability to earn regionally accredited college credits while in high school
  • Overall reduction in the cost to obtain a college degree (potential cost reduction of between $5,000 to $24,000)
  • Decreased time to completion of a college degree
  • Courses available through distance learning (Online and EagleVision Home)

Dual Enrollment Online

The latest location to be added to Worldwide’s Dual Enrollment program is online. Now high school students can start learning with Embry-Riddle Worldwide on their own.

Unlike school-based programs, Dual Enrollment Online does not require financial and administrative support from a school district. With four terms a year, students and their families have the freedom to choose when they’d like to start their Embry-Riddle experience.


  • High school student, enrolled in 9th – 12th grade (9th grade begins with Fall term) attending a public or private high school in Georgia or home study program operated in accordance with O.C.G.A. 20-2-690(c). See Move On When Ready requirements at GAfutures.org
  • Have a minimum high school unweighted CGPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 scale. See ERAU Dual Enrollment Admission Requirements

  • Sign a Georgia Student Participation Agreement form with high school or home study program, meet the admissions requirements at the postsecondary institution of their choice and make satisfactory academic progress
