Gaetz Aerospace Career Academy: Apply and Register

If you’re ready to start earning college credit in high school, you’re in the right place. Apply to Gaetz Aerospace Career Academy and take your secondary education to the next level.

All new students (students who have not taken an ERAU class previously) must complete the online application. Follow these steps:

  • Click on High School Student.
  • Click on Start New Application.
  • Submit completed form for email address verification.
  • A verification email will be sent to address provided. If not received, please check your spam filters.
  • Click on verification link in the email to continue your application.
  • Complete form and click Submit.
  • You will receive a confirmation email.

Special care should be taken to enter information correctly as this will create the official ERAU student account. Applications are normally processed within a few days.

Once the application is processed at Embry-Riddle, you will receive an email that includes your student ID. You’ll need your student ID to set up your ERNIE account, where you can monitor your status. Follow these instructions to activate your ERNIE account and set up Duo two-factor authentication.

An automatic email will be sent to the high school for approval and another automatic email will be sent to the applicant’s Parent/Guardian for consent.

Log in to your ERNIE account and enroll in your course via MyACA during the registration period.

Returning students DO NOT have to reapply each semester. Students will log in to their ERNIE account and enroll in their courses via MyACA each semester during the registration period.

Instructors will supply their students with the correct Course Code and Section Number for the course. Visit Important Dates for registration dates and deadlines.

After you are admitted, you will register for classes. Follow these steps.

How to Register for Classes

Instructors will supply their students with the correct Course Code and Section Number for the course. Students will need to enroll online for their courses each semester during the registration period.

  • Log in to ERNIE.
  • Select the MyACA icon under My Tools.
  • Select the High School Student tile.
  • Select the register for Classes tile.
  • The classes available at your high school will display. Click the box next to the class section to enroll. Please consult your instructor if you are unsure which section to enroll in.
  • Click Register for Selected when complete. Your successful registration will show on the My Class Registrations tab.
  • Return to ERNIE using the menu to access your Canvas courses and other ERAU resources. Your Canvas course will populate within 24 hours of course enrollment.
  • Visit Important Dates for registration dates and deadlines.
