Helping Your Child Prepare for the Future

All parents want the best possible future for their children. Most agree that education in the Aviation/Aerospace and STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is important to their children’s future prospects for success.

If America is going to compete for the jobs and industries of tomorrow, we need to make sure our children are getting the best education possible.President Barack Obama, speaking about education in 2012

Students who receive Aviation/Aerospace and/or STEM-related education are indeed better prepared for the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century. These young men and women represent our next generation of innovators and inventors. They are the ones who will create the technologies, engineer the products, and discover the breakthroughs that will change the world in ways we can’t even imagine today.

By the time they reach high school, the majority of students already have an idea of the career path that they want to pursue in the years ahead. The Embry-Riddle Dual Enrollment Program can help high-performing students make their goals a reality by providing:

  • College-level coursework worth up to 24 credit hours that are regionally accredited for transfer to colleges and universities.
  • Learning opportunities that can be applied to real-world work assignments in Aviation/Aerospace or STEM-related jobs or military careers, right out of high school.
  • A greater degree of confidence when venturing out into the world well ahead of their friends and peers who did not receive additional education of this caliber.

All of these advantages are available to high school students as early as their sophomore year, at a cost equal to what you would spend for one year of Embry-Riddle Worldwide Undergraduate tuition.
