Many high schools offer Advanced Placement (AP) curriculum to top-performing, college-bound students. These courses provide higher-caliber educational challenges and more intensive learning sessions. However, there is no guaranteed value, as many colleges will not accept high school AP credits toward a degree.
Dual enrollment, on the other hand, provides both high school and college credit. The opportunity for students to earn almost a year of college credit while still in high school is one of the greatest advantages of participation in the Embry-Riddle's Dual Enrollment Program. All of our courses are fully accredited and backed by Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Students develop the critical thinking skills needed for academic success, the passion for subjects that spark their imagination, and the inspiration to create an exciting future. They also have a lot less stress when entering college with up to 24 credits in hand. Not to mention a year’s worth of savings in college costs.
